Belgium... My friend Avi and I went a couple weekends ago. It was a fairly spontanious trip but we had the best time!

What I did not realize when I decided to go to Brussels this particular weekend was that the annual beer festival was going on. As you can imagine, I was very disappointed- HA! It was a blast- Avi and I had an incredible time, although we didn't do as much sightseeing as we normally do...

I'll admit it, I went a little crazy with the self-shots that night. This was one of the decent ones :)

So after two consecutive beer-festival nights in Brussels, we took a day trip to Brugge before returning to Germany. It is one of the most beautiful places I have seen yet.

I'm glad we had the chance to stop in Brugge before returning home. The return home, incidentally, took 14 hours (should have only taken 4) because we missed a connection. Oops. I thought I would never get on a train again. But, 2 days later Avi and I set out for Krakow (15 hour trip) because we're crazy.
I'll get those pictures up as soon as I can. Classes have started so I have significantly less time for fun stuff now...
